Sixth-year paths
The curriculum combines a solid theoretical grounding with intensive clinical training in PUM’s clinical hospitals. The sixth year (semesters 11 and 12) is 30 weeks of practical training in internal medicine, paediatrics, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, psychiatry, emergency medicine and family medicine. Six of those weeks go to a specialty or discipline you choose yourself.
Studying the whole programme in English means:
Erasmus+ adds further options abroad: from the third year you can apply to study at a partner university, and traineeships in foreign institutions are open both during studies and after graduation.
Degree in brief
The programme follows European standards of medical education, and the diploma is recognised in many countries. Studying in English makes it easier to join international internships and research and to continue your career abroad.
